Bypass Highway (NNKSB)

NNKSB provides smoother and faster journey to Northport.

The New North Klang Straits Bypass Highway (NNKSB) is a two-lane dual carriageway which connects Northport in Port Klang to Bukit Raja in Klang.

NNKSB not only provides direct access to and from Northport but also connects Klang Town, Tanjung Harapan recreational centre, Bukit Raja industrial and commercial districts and Klang Sentral bus station.

The length of NNKSB is 17.5 km with four toll plazas, four interchanges and seven bridges. It offers a sophisticated traffic surveillance system, 24-hour patrol service, motorcycle shelters and one rest service area with 24-hour petrol station.

Toll Plazas

The New North Klang Straits Bypass Highway (NNKSB) toll plazas are situated at Bukit Raja, Kapar, Kapar Laluan Timur and Kapar Laluan Barat. The toll plaza each are equipped with electronic toll collection systems - Touch 'n Go, Smart Tag and RFID lanes.

At Grand Sepadu, we have a team of qualified maintenance personnel who are always at hand to ensure that the highway is well maintained for the safety, convenience and comfort of highway users. Regular maintenance and upgrading works are conducted on the toll equipment, the highway infrastructure as well as the facilities and amenities surrounding it. This includes related civil, mechanical and electrical works.

We have in place an efficient system to enhance customer safety. Sepadu Ronda attends to all incidents along the highway and relays detailed and accurate information back to our Command Centre for immediate action.

Highway users can travel with confidence knowing that we provide round-the-clock emergency assistance teams on patrol, who are just one phone call away. Alert and well trained, our team is always on hand to provide assistance or help in traffic emergencies anywhere along the highway.

Our ever courteous and helpful team will provide all the necessary assistance in the event of an accident or a vehicle breakdown. The team is also trained to provide emergency first aid, traffic management, co-ordination of emergency services and to ensure a safe highway for all to use.
